Microneedling Treatment & Collagen Induction Therapy, as featured in Cosmopolitan ME!
Microneedling works by creating micro-sized holes in your skin, which forces your body to boost collagen production that repairs your skin from deep within. Combining this internal reaction with the corrective serums that we use, gives your skin a powerful reboot, thereby resolving your skin’s major problems!
What you can expect:
- Dramatic fading of acne scars and pigmentation.
- Tightening of sagging facial skin.
- Smooths out fine lines & wrinkles.
- Reduces pore size.
- Evens out your skin tone.
How to determine if Microneedling is good for you?
If you’ve managed to resolve your active acne problem but are left with deep scars that don’t seem to lighten, then micro-needling is the treatment for you. This treatment is also perfect for reducing pore size and evening out your skin texture. The treatment works in reducing any tiny bumps you have on your skin.
Even if you don’t have any major skin problems, Microneedling acts as a great anti-aging treatment to give your skin a quick reboot!
Microneedling is completely safe for all skin types, we do not work on skin that has active acne. At Ivory Aesthetics, Microneedling always comes with a skin consultation. This helps us determine whether you’re the perfect candidate for Microneedling. The skin consultation also helps us give you realistic expectations from the treatment and brief you on the post-treatment regimen that we encourage you to follow.
How does the treatment work?
Our Microneedling Therapy is a 90 minute full facial that includes a skin numbing procedure, an advanced Hyaluronic peel, the needling process, injectable vitamins, collagen induction, and a full facial mask.
The entire Microneedling treatment is preceded by a short skin numbing process so you can completely relax. The needling uses a combination of short and long needles to access the deeper layers of your skin and the more sensitive areas. We also use an advanced Hyaluronic Acid peel tailored for your skin concerns and full facial mask that hydrates and boosts the deepest layers of your skin.
How often can you get it done?
This depends on the severity of your skin issues. If you don’t have any major skin concerns and you’re just adding Microneedling to your skincare regimen then you can come in for a Microneedling therapy every 3-6 months. But if you want to resolve deeper acne scarring and pigmentation issues, then chart a treatment plan with the therapist for a couple of sessions over a period of 6 months.
The ultimate benefits of Microneedling are long-lasting. Even a single session can significantly clear up scarring and pigmentation, making it a highly sought-after treatment.
